Hi there! Welcome to A Mixed Media Color Challenge #5! Thanks to all who joined along with Challenge #4 ~ so many pretty projects filled the gallery! We hope you come play again! For nearly the next two weeks, we will be playing with the following color combination shown below. Please be sure to use: purple, blue and green as your MAIN colors.
***PLEASE DISPLAY THE COLOR GRAPHIC ON YOUR BLOG POST***
**Please keep in mind this is a MIXED MEDIA color challenge therefore we would like for you to COMBINE at least TWO types of MEDIUMS (ie: paints, markers, pastes, mists, inks, etc...), in addition to the "traditional" stamped / colored image to create your project. Let's get creative and Create Outside The Box!
Here is some fab inspiration:
We would love to see what you create with this pretty color combination! Please refer to sidebar for complete guidelines. Three participants will be selected as our featured artists.

ReplyDeleteA great mix of colours. I'm looking forward to this one.
ReplyDeleteLove these deep dark colors! can't wait to start 'playing'!
ReplyDeleteWhat fun bright colours! Oooooooh!!
ReplyDeleteI love these colors.
ReplyDeleteOkay girls - I am looking for some critiquing - I am not happy with either of my pages! I tried the colors, but my green looks yellow - lost all the way around :(
ReplyDeleteYes, this time I found time to play along!!! Finished my page today, but can't upload untill 15 th of august.Because it also my DT page for Sketchabilities. I am busy here in summer , so happy I could combine the sketch and the colors here.
ReplyDelete@Vicky: I like the way you ask for critique. I always want to do that , but than at the same time I am afraid they say things that I dont like at all. I visited you blog and I love your mixed media pages. I am not a expert and I always overdo things. A trick what works very good for me: walk away of what I am making, do something else, go to work or whatever. Most of the times when I come back I suddenly know whats wrong. And the BEST trick what works for me (also with scrapbooking) , I make a quick picture with my phone, and I almost always see where something misses or is to heavy. It is your page, do something so it will make you happy, or leave it and start a new one. Or....what I do if I dont like it,gesso all over the stuff :)
Wilma, can't wait to see what you create! Thank you for sharing this awesome advice with all! :)
